Hearty Life Nutrition Services

Food Pantry

Food is distributed at New Life Church COGIC, 3311 N Powers Dr, Orlando, FL, 32818.

Every Friday at 11:30 a.m & Every 2nd Saturday of the month at 9 a.m

Nutrition Counseling

The client’s lifestyle and current eating habits are analyzed to help them make successful lifestyle changes.

Individual & Group Workouts

Workouts are customized to fit the needs and areas of interest of each person.

Healthy Parents Childcare

The Healthy Parents Childcare Program offers financial assistance to income-restricted families to facilitate a healthier lifestyle. The childcare assistance provides parents and legal guardians the ability to accomplish health-related activities without the stress of safe and affordable childcare.

Health Screenings

Health screenings such as HIV, Blood Pressure (BP), Glucose/A1C, Cholesterol, Body Mass Index (BMI), among others are held twice a year to bring health awareness to the community.

Workshops & Webinars

Workshops and Webinars are held throughout the year to educate and provide individuals with resources to assist in living a healthier lifestyle in the areas of mind, body, and soul health.

ELIGIBILITY

NO COST: Gross income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty levels for families.

NOMINAL COST: Gross income above 200% of the federal poverty levels for families. (Not Applicable To All Programs)

 

INCOME VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

All applicants will be required to provide a Government Issued ID along with proof of income such as:

  • W-2 withholding statements or Unemployment check stubs for the past 90 days
  • Paycheck stubs for the past 90 days for all persons employed in the home
  • Proof of all other income received in the past 90 days
  • Proof of government assistance
  • Proof of Bankruptcy settlement (if applicable)

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Contact the nonprofit with your request via phone (407.783.4976) or by sending an email
  2. The nonprofit will evaluate each request on a case by case basis to approve eligibility
  3. All applicants MUST meet with a representative from the nonprofit to provide income verification documentation
