Taking the leap to gaining the body you have always dreamed of is scary and it takes guts. It takes stepping out of the comfort zone and embarking on a new unknown journey. The unknown isn’t always fun. Plus, who doesn’t love their comfort zone.
Sooner or later, in the pursuit of happiness, the comfort zone will no longer be beneficial. Do you stay in the comfort zone and be unhappy with your body? Or Do you venture on this new journey to release the body you have been dreaming of?
Ultimately, each person has to decide what’s best for them. For years, I decided to remain unhappy out of fear of judgment, criticism, and self-doubt. I walked around pretending to be comfortable with my body, when I was indeed self-conscious and my self-esteem was far gone. My comfort zone was my safety net and security blanket. Once I decided to reclaim my life and crept out of my comfort zone, I realized I was capable of so much more. I had been limiting my potential. I wasn’t living, I was surviving. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I honestly have no regrets. If I did, it would be why didn’t I start sooner.
